Dr Shahzad qualified as a doctor in 1999 and is a member of The Royal College of General Practitioners. He worked in a wide number of specialties including general medicine, general surgery, care of the elderly, cardiology, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, accident and emergency, pediatrics etc. before moving the general practice.

Dr Shahzad has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine that is joint pains, muscle pains, back pains he performs minor surgery and administers joint injections.
